This product is vegan and has an interesting history. Many years ago, these were a favourite of mine, then they changed the recipe so that the product was made almost entirely of gluten and tasted like salty nothingness. More recently, a new (old) recipe was introduced and the sausage is mainly soya, not too salty, and quite delicious when fried in olive oil. I eat one or two of these per week
